"Traveling to China through Music"
The Bay Area's Laurel Ensemble presents a brand new musical work "Disturbed Ground" that describes the villages, countryside, folk instruments, and traditional folk songs of China. This piece was written for the Laurel Ensemble by an American composer from San Francisco named Alexis Alrich. Come learn about our six instruments - violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, and piano - and learn how music can transport you to another place, even another country!
